2019, especially for France, has been an eventful and trying year for the hospitality industry in general and certain food professions in particular. The year 2020, far from having been a catastrophic year for many hotels and restaurants located in summer tourist areas, was very difficult in the big cities that usually welcome foreign tourists. The end of 2020 and the year 2021 do not seem to be looking better, many fear a significant amount of closings of shops and restaurants.
In this very gloomy atmosphere many of our customers, who are used to going every 2 years at Sirha, wonder about the advisability of going there in 2021. The last weekend of May was chosen by the organizers of Sirha to start this new edition.

The date of May 29 is far from ideal because many of you will have started the summer season. Some business leaders anticipate a drop in staff and consider increased personal investment during this period, making it difficult for them to be available and travel to the Sirha exhibition. The decision to go or not will certainly be taken at the last moment ...

The Sirha 2021 will therefore, very probably, be much "quieter" than the previous Sirha with fewer people but just as many motivated exhibitors happy to meet you. Thus, visitors who will come this year will have more opportunities and availability to meet and discuss with exhibitors.
